Master Data Specialist

The Master Data Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining the operational efficiency and service excellence of the Master Data team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality support to business markets through the timely and accurate processing of a high volume of service requests in accordance with established policies and procedures. The position also contributes to team success by supporting colleagues, analyzing reporting data within the assigned scope, identifying process improvement opportunities, and participating in transitions, testing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, the role requires a strong understanding of internal controls, JSOX compliance requirements, and effective collaboration practices with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) stakeholders.

As the Master Data Specialist under the area of Global Data Service Delivery,  you will:

• Process high-volume master data transactions accurately and efficiently while meeting KPIs and service targets.

• Provide timely and professional support by resolving queries and addressing operational issues.Identify and escalate potential risks, system issues, and process concerns through appropriate channels.

• Manage workload effectively to achieve daily productivity and performance goals.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, JSOX controls, audit requirements, and internal control standards.

• Contribute to team success through collaboration, onboarding support, reporting analysis, and knowledge sharing.

• Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and supporting testing, transitions, projects, and other assigned initiatives.

• Contribute to process improvements and optimization initiatives
• Support projects, transitions, and testing activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree; 1+ year of Master Data experience

• Proficient in MS Office, SAP/ERP systems, and Master Data processes (P2P knowledge is a plus).

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher (Upper-Intermediate), with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional business environment

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.

• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment while managing priorities and risks.

• Experience in maintaining and validating Material Master Data, supporting data quality initiatives, and training new team members.
