Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct Repair and Maintenance of trucks and cargo handling equipment
- Conduct Preventive Maintenance of trucks and cargo handling equipment
- Requisition and pick up of spare parts
- Daily inspection of trucks and cargo handling equipment
- Updating of trucks and cargo handling equipment records and inventory
- Fill up equipment of fuel and lube requirements
- Clean up motorpool area before end of shift
- Provide immediate response to machine breakdown and failures
- Adhere strictly to safety regulations, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and environmental policies
- Ensure use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Report all near misses, accident and unsafe practices immediately
- Provide on-site services in case of breakdowns when trucks cannot be driven to shop.
