Canvasser

We are looking for a Canvasser to join our growing team. As a Canvasser, you will be responsible for sourcing, canvassing, and comparing prices of materials and supplies needed for our operations. Your role is vital in ensuring that the company secures the best deals while maintaining quality and reliability from suppliers .

Key Responsibilities Collaboration with Internal Teams

Coordinate regularly with encoders, purchasers, and checkers to ensure smooth workflow and communication.

Coordination with Purchaser

• Work closely with the procurement team for processing and approval of orders.

Documentation and Compliance

• Ensure that all canvassing documents, quotations, and supplier data are complete, organized, and compliant with company procurement policies and audit requirements.

Documentation and Reporting

• Prepare canvass sheets and supporting documents for approval by the Purchasing Manager (or Operations Manager in their absence).
• Maintain accurate records of all price quotations and canvassing activities for audit and reference.

Market Awareness

• Stay updated with market trends, pricing fluctuations, and stock availability.
• Proactively suggest alternative suppliers or substitute products in case of stockouts or when better options arise.
• Conduct monthly market checks or reports on current pricing trends.

Price Canvassing

• Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers to determine the best value for money.
• Ensure that all price comparisons are detailed, accurate, and based on uniform specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or canvassing.
• Familiarity with cashless payment systems for transaction processing.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills to evaluate and select vendors effectively.
• Must demonstrate integrity, honesty, and professionalism, and should never be influenced or bribed by suppliers in any form.
• Onsite job and must be willing to be deployed to different branches
