An executive driver is a professional chauffeur tasked with safely and privately transporting corporate leaders or VIPs. They require a high level of discretion, impeccable punctuality, and a strong knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns to ensure executives arrive efficiently.
Key Duties
• VIP Transportation: Safely and punctually drive executives to meetings, corporate events, and personal appointments, prioritizing a smooth and comfortable ride.
• Route Planning: Scout, navigate, and adjust routes using traffic apps like Waze or Google Maps to avoid traffic bottlenecks and road closures.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily checks (fuel, tires, fluids) and routine maintenance (PMS), ensuring the car is impeccably clean and perfectly operational.
• Discretion and Confidentiality: Maintain strict privacy regarding the executive’s conversations, schedules, and personal life.
• Administrative & Concierge Tasks: Assist with running errands, carrying luggage, and managing simple travel logs or expense reports.
Qualifications
• Licensing: Hold a valid Professional Driver's License (e.g., Restriction Codes 1, 2, & 3 in the Philippines) with a clean driving record and no history of major violations.
• Experience: Typically requires 1 year of professional driving experience.
• Navigation Skills: Advanced knowledge of local geography, alternate routes, and VIP areas. [1, 2]
• Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, a neat and professional appearance, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Basic Mechanical Knowledge: Ability to handle on-the-road emergencies such as changing flat tires or jump-starting a battery.
