Data Analyst (SQL) — Job Description Job Title: Data Analyst (SQL) Job Summary: The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decisions and operational performance. The role focuses heavily on SQL querying, data validation, reporting, and identifying trends or insights from large datasets. The analyst will work closely with business and technical teams to ensure data accuracy and provide actionable recommendations. Key Responsibilities Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to extract and analyze data from databases. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and business insights. Create and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and data summaries. Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency. Translate business requirements into data queries and analytical outputs. Investigate data discrepancies and work with technical teams to identify and resolve data issues. Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis based on business requirements. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders. Support data migration, database testing, and reporting initiatives when required. Document SQL queries, reports, data processes, and analytical methodologies. Collaborate with Operations, IT, Finance, Product, and other business teams to understand data requirements. Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner. Continuously improve reporting processes through automation and query optimization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
