EY-DET -  Full stack Dotnet (Backend Focused)– Technology Consulting
As part of our GDS Consulting team, you will be part of GDS Technology Consulting team delivering to clients across regions. The client base spans across various sectors and includes collaboration with other teams within Consulting services.

Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.
Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.

The opportunity
We’re looking for resources with expertise in Microsoft Technologies to join the group of our Microsoft Technology team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of our service offering.
Your key responsibilities
•    Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
•    Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code
•    Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
•    Drive the project to achieve the milestone
•    Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
•    Understand existing application architecture and solution design
•    Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, programming patterns, and solving complex problems
•    Experience with working with Agile methodology and scrums, and stand ups
•    Demonstrated history of excellent troubleshooting, analytical. and problem-solving skills
•    Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale, high-quality systems and software products
•    Strong written & oral communication skills
•    Lead or Mentor junior and/or mid-level developers
•    Review code and establish best practices

Skills and attributes
•    More than 6 years of experience in full stack development with Extensive experience developing RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core Web API
•    Proficient in SQL and database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
•    Expert-level knowledge of the complete Microsoft Azure stack, including:
o    Azure App Service
o    Azure Functions and Durable Functions
o    Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS)
o    Azure Data Factory (ADF)
o    Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and release management
o    Deployment slots and Key Vault for secure configuration management
o    Security best practices in cloud and application development
•    Familiarity in front end development using Angular or React.
•    Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting Azure services.
•    Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and microservices.
•    Proficient in source control tools like Git, and experience with branching strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based development).
•    Experience with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence.
•    Good to have knowledge in using Github Co-Pilot Agents.
•    Nice to have knowledge in Python

To qualify for the role, you must have

•    Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
