Job Summary:
- We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Waiter.
- The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to our guests by ensuring their dining experience is pleasant and memorable. As a Waiter, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly, polite, and welcoming manner.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and deliver them in a timely fashion.
- Provide menu information and recommendations to customers based on their preferences.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in an efficient and professional manner, ensuring proper presentation.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and dietary restrictions to assist customers with their choices.
- Ensure a clean and organized dining area by regularly checking tables, refilling drinks, and removing empty plates.
- Assist with special requests or modifications to orders and ensure they are communicated to the kitchen staff.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately using the POS system.
- Provide excellent customer service , addressing any concerns or complaints in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of the restaurant and exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations , including food handling and sanitation standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Proven experience as a waiter or in a similar customer service role (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team-oriented setting.
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments.
- Flexible availability , including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations (preferred).
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry food and beverages for extended periods.
