Accounting and Finance Manager - CPA - 5 yrs experience - Binondo

• 35 – 40 years old
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA required).
• MBA preferred.
• 5 - 10 years of experience in a similar role, with proven success in budget management and

financial reporting.

• Strong knowledge of PFRS, PAS, and BIR regulations.
• Experience with budgeting/forecasting software is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (English & Filipino).
• Strong leadership and team management experience.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
• Amenable to work onsite at Escolta Street, Binondo, Manila.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Operations & Reporting o Supervise daily accounting functions (AP, AR, GL, financial reporting). o Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with PFRS. o Ensure timely submission of tax filings and regulatory reports. 2. Policy & Compliance o Develop and implement accounting policies aligned with PAS, PFRS, and BIR regulations. o Stay updated on changes in Philippine tax laws and accounting standards. o Oversee external audits with Philippine auditing firms. 3. Budgeting & Forecasting o Lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive budget management system. o Collaborate with department heads to prepare realistic budgets aligned with strategic goals. o Monitor budget performance using KPIs, report variances, and recommend corrective actions. o Implement forecasting models to guide strategic decision-making. 4. Leadership & Team Development o Manage and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. o Build strong relationships with auditors, banks, and investors. 5. Strategic Financial Management o Provide financial insights and reports to senior management and the board of directors. o Align financial planning with operational and market realities. o Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws on compensation and benefits.
