Waste Water Technician

The Wastewater Technician is responsible for assisting in the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems. This role ensures that wastewater processes comply with environmental standards and operate efficiently. The position requires a hardworking, reliable, and adaptable individual willing to learn and work in a wastewater treatment environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the daily operation and monitoring of wastewater treatment facilities and equipment.
2. Perform routine inspection, cleaning, and basic maintenance of pumps, valves, pipelines, and other mechanical components.
3. Support troubleshooting and minor repairs of mechanical and electrical systems.
4. Collect and record operational data and report any abnormalities or issues.
5. Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and company regulations.
6. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
7. Follow instructions from supervisors and participate in training as required.
8. Work extended hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
Education
At least a High School Graduate.
Skills
o Basic knowledge of wastewater treatment is an advantage but not required.
o Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical repairs is an advantage but not required.
o Honest, adaptable, and willing to learn.
o Willing to work in a wastewater treatment setup.
o Willing to be assigned in Cebu City.
o Physically fit and capable of handling fieldwork.
