Accounting Supervisor

Job Function
- Financial Reporting: Prepares and reviews monthly financial statements, project cost reports, and reconciliations.
- Compliance: Ensures adherence to tax regulations, labor laws, and audit requirements.
- Project-Based Accounting: Tracks construction project costs, supplier payments, and progress billings.
- Internal Controls: Implements and monitors accounting policies to safeguard company assets.
- Coordination: Works closely with project managers, procurement, and HR to align financial records with operational activities.
- Audit Preparation: Ensures documentation is complete and audit-ready.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance
- CPA license is often required/preferred
- At least 3–5 years of accounting experience, with 3+ years in Supervisory role
- A minimum of 3 years total accounting experience is required.
- Prior exposure to construction or project-based finance is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of construction/job-cost accounting, compliance, book keeping
- Proficiency in Excel ,Word, Powerpoint and presentation of cost reports
- Ability to manage multi-entity project accounting and reconciliations.
- Leadership and team management.
- Analytical thinking and risk assessment.
- Communication skills for coordinating with project managers, auditors, suppliers, and management.
- Pioneer the accounting dept.
