Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Junior Mechanic to assist our mechanics with vehicle/equipment maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate is hardworking, eager to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the automotive/mechanical field.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead mechanics with inspections, repairs, and maintenance
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
- Perform basic tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and part replacements
- Help lift, position, and secure machinery or vehicle components
- Organize and maintain inventory of parts and supplies
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge or previous shop experience a plus
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Automotive or mechanical training/certification
- Experience in automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, small engine, etc.
- Familiarity with shop equipment and diagnostic tools
