The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex accounting functions, including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, and supporting budget and forecasting activities. This position offers a hybrid work setup and requires a night shift schedule following successful training. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and company policies.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Analyze and interpret monthly and quarterly financial results, identifying trends and variances.
- Handle large data sets and perform data manipulation for financial reporting and analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other reporting deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting function.
- Support internal and external audits, including the preparation of required documentation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or a related field (Required)
- CPA license is preferred, but non-CPAs with strong experience may be considered
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of core accounting principles, including journal entries, debits, and credits
- Proven experience with account reconciliations and month/quarter-end close analysis
- Proficient in handling large volumes of financial data and working with spreadsheets (Excel)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a shared services or BPO environment is a plus
- Willingness to work a night shift schedule in a hybrid setup after training
