Customer Service Executive Japanese Speaking Sales company Remote then Binan

Handle inquiries from assigned customers outside Singapore (mainly Japanese clients) via email, live chat, Salesforce, and phone, in both Japanese and English

Process orders and follow up with the factory on stock availability, delivery schedules, and lead times; prepare Open Order Reports on time

Serve as the interface between customers, sales, various business divisions, and finance to resolve inquiries/issues related to order status, production, delivery, and billing

Monitor shipment status from factories (China, France, US) and notify/obtain customer acceptance for any changes

Prepare and send shipping documents

Handle returns/claims due to quality rejects, and coordinate with the Quality team

Hold regular meetings with customers (in-person/online), at least 2-3 times per month, ideally weekly visits

Update weekly order status and reflect it in sales forecast reports

Provide backup support to team members, and handle other ad-hoc tasks

*Core focus is not simple online chat support, but handling a high volume of orders for a small number (fewer than 5) of key accounts

Contractual (engaged as an independent contractor through a local outsourced provider, annually renewable) → Expected to transition to direct employment once a Philippine representative office is established

With this new hire, the Philippines team will consist of 5 members (4 Sales + 1 in this position).

This position is the only one on the local team requiring Japanese language skills.

Additional headcount (new position) — to strengthen support for a key Japanese client.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

Customer Service relevant experience.

Salesforce and JDE system experience preferred but not required.

Primary language is English.

Japanese only needs to be at a business level for reading/writing (N2 listed as a guideline, not a strict requirement).

Initially fully remote (work-from-home). Expected to transition to hybrid work once office/warehouse near Laguna Technopark/Biñan is secured.

Candidates based in NCR may also be considered, provided they are willing to commute to Laguna (approx. 50 minutes one-way by bus/car).
