Videographer/ Editor

The Videographer will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that aligns with the talent agency's branding and supports its roster of creators on TikTok. This role requires expertise in video production, editing, and directing creators during shoots to ensure the content achieves maximum engagement and adheres to platform trends. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Content Strategist to execute creative concepts, optimize content for social media, and deliver impactful visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Production and Editing

• Plan, shoot, and edit video content for TikTok, ensuring alignment with the agency's standards and goals.
• Utilize advanced video editing software to create visually appealing and engaging content optimized for social media platforms.
• Edit videos to include special effects, transitions, and overlays while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic.

Shoot Direction

• Direct creators during content shoots, providing guidance on performance, angles, and overall storytelling.
• Ensure shoots run smoothly by managing equipment setup, lighting, and sound to achieve high production quality.

Collaboration with Content Teams

• Work closely with the Content Strategist to understand content concepts, scripts, and mood boards.
• Provide creative input on video execution to bring strategies and scripts to life.
• Coordinate with creators to ensure the video content reflects their brand and voice.

Trend Adaptation and Optimization

• Stay updated on TikTok trends, video styles, and algorithms, incorporating these insights into video creation.
• Optimize videos for performance on TikTok, including aspect ratios, durations, and in-app effects.

Equipment and Software Proficiency

• Operate professional video equipment, including cameras, gimbals, tripods, and lighting tools.
• Use editing software such as Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and CapCut Pro to enhance video quality.
• Familiarity with Tiktok's in-app editing features and tools for seamless integration.

Content Quality Assurance

• Review and refine video content to ensure high production value, alignment with branding standards, and adherence to project briefs.
• Conduct final checks for consistency, pacing, and overall quality before posting,

Innovation and Experimentation

• Experiment with creative video techniques, formats, and transitions to keep content fresh and engaging.
• Propose and test new ideas to elevate video storytelling for creators.

File Management and Organization

• Maintain an organized library of video assets, raw footage, and final edits for efficient retrieval and use.

• Bachelor's degree in Film Production. Multimedia Arts, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in videography, video editing, and directing, preferably within a a social media or content creation environment.
• Experience working with creators or influencers, especially on Tiktok, is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, CapCut)
• Strong understanding of TikTok trends, video styles, and engagement strategies
• Expertise in camera operation, lighting setup, and audio recording
• Excellent directorial skills to guide creators and ensure cohesive storytelling.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to translate concepts into visually compelling videos.
