Video Editor & Graphic Designer Assistant

This is a remote position.

IMPORTANT: A Technical Assessment needs to be completed before your interview with the client, and a portfolio is required to be considered for this role.

We are seeking a creative and highly skilled Video Editor & Graphic Designer Assistant specialising in visual content production, video editing, graphic design, and social media content.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality visual and video assets for the business’ digital channels. This includes editing onsite footage, creating social media graphics and videos, preparing captions, scheduling content, and developing both short-form and long-form YouTube content.

The role is primarily focused on content production and execution, working alongside the person responsible for the broader brand awareness and digital marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing & Production

• Edit raw footage recorded onsite and transform it into polished, professional marketing videos.
  
• Produce short-form video content for social media, including:
  
• 15-second advertising videos
  
• Organic videos of up to 30 seconds
  
• Reels
  
• YouTube Shorts
  
• Repurpose longer raw footage into multiple short-form content pieces.
  
• Edit and produce long-form YouTube videos, including demonstrations, educational content, and other relevant video material.
  
• Assist with developing and maintaining the business's YouTube video content.
  
• Add appropriate graphics, captions, music, transitions, animations, and branding to video content.
  
• Ensure all video content is professionally presented and aligned with the business's visual standards.
  

Graphic Design & Visual Content

• Create professional graphics and visual assets for social media and digital marketing campaigns.
  
• Develop promotional graphics, branded content, thumbnails, and other digital assets.
  
• Adapt visual content for different platforms and formats.
  
• Maintain consistency across all visual content in accordance with the business's branding guidelines.

Social Media Content

• Create engaging content for LinkedIn, Meta platforms, and YouTube.
  
• Write captions and accompanying copy for social media posts.
  
• Prepare and format content for publishing across relevant social media platforms.
  
• Schedule social media posts and maintain a consistent content publishing schedule.
  
• Manage and maintain the social media content calendar.
  
• Repurpose existing content into suitable formats for different social media platforms.
  
• Stay up to date with social media content trends, platform updates, and best practices.
  

Content Planning & Execution

• Work from existing marketing direction and briefs to produce visual and video content.
  
• Collaborate with the internal team to understand content requirements and deadlines.
  
• Organize raw footage, creative assets, and completed content.
  
• Manage multiple content projects and ensure assets are delivered on time.
  
• Identify opportunities to improve the quality and effectiveness of visual content.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in video editing, graphic design, content creation, and social media content production.
  
• Strong video editing skills and experience using relevant editing software.
• Experience producing both short-form and long-form video content.
• Experience creating content for YouTube, LinkedIn, and Meta platforms.
• Experience with Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form video formats.
• Strong graphic design skills and the ability to create professional social media visuals.
• Portfolio of sample work is required.
  
• Ability to write engaging and appropriate captions for social media content.
  
• Experience with social media scheduling and content management tools.
  
• Strong understanding of visual branding and content presentation.
  
• Ability to repurpose raw footage and existing content into multiple content formats.
  
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of visual quality.
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  
• Excellent communication and creative thinking skills.
  

Work Environment & Expectations

While this is a work-from-home position, it is important to note that this is a full-time role—not a freelance or flexible-hour arrangement. You will be expected to work a fixed shift and maintain a high level of professionalism and accountability, just as you would in an office environment.

• Use of time tracking software during work hours

• Active participation in team and client calls with your camera ON

• Consistent availability and responsiveness throughout your shift

• Treating this as a long-term, full-time job—not a side gig or freelance task

⏱ Payroll is processed bi-monthly.

Benefits

1. Monthly Salary: Php35,000

2. Salary will be paid on a bi-monthly basis on the 15th and 30th or 31st of each month

3. You will be paid extra for overtime and Philippines public holidays

4.   Probation: 6 months and after Probation

10 days annual leave credits

5 days of sick leave

5. HMO offered after 6-months probation

6. Eligible for 13th Month Pay after 30 days

7.   Annual Salary Review

8. Laptop provided after 30 days

9.   Permanent work-from-home role. You will have to use your own internet.

10. SHIFT TIMES: 6 AM to 3 PM Philippine time, Monday to Friday
