Overview:
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support Australian clients with their day-to-day financial operations. This is a fully remote role suited to candidates with at least two years of hands-on experience working with Australian clients or businesses.
Key Responsibilities
• Processing accounts payable and receivable
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Payroll processing and record keeping
• Assisting with BAS and GST preparation
• General ledger maintenance
• Preparing basic financial reports (P&L, balance sheet)
• Managing invoices and expense records
• Supporting year-end processes with accountants
Skills & Experience
• 2+ years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably with Australian clients
• Familiarity with accounting software (Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks)
• Basic understanding of Australian accounting practices
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Stable work-from-home setup (reliable internet, laptop/desktop, quiet workspace)
