Your impact

• Produce high-quality Civil 3D drafting deliverables for roads, drainage, earthworks, and associated civil infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.
• Develop, update, and manage detailed design drawings and BIM models in accordance with client specifications, Jacobs QA procedures, and digital engineering standards.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated and integrated design solutions across all project stages.
• Support project execution by maintaining documentation quality, meeting project schedules, and providing drawing-related inputs for quantity take-offs and cost estimation activities.
• Coordinate with drafters, project stakeholders, and external partners to ensure consistency, efficiency, and alignment across drawing packages and design deliverables.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, innovation, and inclusion while applying practical construction knowledge to deliver buildable and cost-effective engineering solutions.

Here's what you'll need

• Minimum 10 years of experience in civil and/or structural drafting, with significant involvement in major infrastructure and land development projects.
• Extensive experience preparing detailed engineering drawings and documentation for roads, drainage, earthworks, utilities, and related civil infrastructure projects.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with strong capability in corridor modeling, surface creation, grading design, and drawing production.
• Working knowledge of GIS, BIM platforms, and digital engineering workflows, with experience in multidisciplinary design coordination within a BIM environment considered highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of digital delivery processes, BIM standards, drafting best practices, and quality assurance requirements to ensure compliant and consistent project deliverables.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and project teams while mentoring junior drafters and supporting successful project delivery.
