Wellness Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a licensed Wellness Coordinator with experience working in a BPO setting or with individuals exposed to high-stress, trauma-heavy industries. The Wellness Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the mental and emotional well-being of our employees by offering one-on-one counseling, wellness programs, crisis intervention, and mental health training.

This is a full-time, hybrid position, requiring regular interaction with employees in both Cebu and Davao locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide one-on-one confidential counseling to employees dealing with work-related stress, personal challenges, or mental health concerns.
• Offer group therapy sessions or support groups for employees who may benefit from peer support.
• Assess mental health concerns and provide recommendations or referrals as needed.
• Design and implement workplace wellness initiatives focused on stress management, resilience, and emotional well-being.
• Develop and facilitate training sessions & workshops on topics such as:
• Burnout prevention
• Coping with high-stress environments
• Mental health awareness
• Trauma and crisis response
• Act as the first point of contact for employees experiencing acute mental health crises.
• Provide psychological first aid for employees who have dealt with traumatic or distressing situations on the job.
• Implement a mental health response framework for handling severe stress, anxiety, or crisis cases.
• Work closely with HR, operations managers, and leadership to integrate mental health strategies into company policies and culture.
• Provide guidance on workplace adjustments for employees dealing with mental health challenges.
• Identify common workplace stressors and offer solutions to enhance overall employee well-being.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field.
• Must be a licensed psychologist in the Philippines.
• Minimum of 3 years experience providing counseling, therapy, or mental health support.
• Experience working in a BPO environment or with employees in high-stress or trauma-exposed industries.
• Strong counseling and psychotherapy skills.
• Expertise in crisis intervention and trauma support.
• Ability to develop and lead mental health training programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High cultural sensitivity to effectively support a diverse workforce.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Certification in Trauma-Informed Care, Workplace Mental Health, or Crisis Intervention.
• Prior experience in corporate wellness programs or workplace mental health initiatives.
• Experience leading group therapy or support groups in a workplace setting.
• Familiarity with mental health policies, compliance, and ethical guidelines in the workplace.
• Knowledge of stress management, resilience training, and mindfulness techniques.
• Ability to collaborate with HR and leadership to implement employee mental wellness initiatives.
