CNC Machinist

- Set up CNC machines according to engineering blueprints.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and dimensional tolerances.
- Perform autonomous and preventive maintenance on machines.
- Modify CNC programs as needed using CAD/CAM software.
- Interpret and apply G-Code and M-Code for machine operations.
- Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and understanding.
- Work with tight tolerances and precision components.
- Identify and resolve machining issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Operate Sparking EDM machines for tooling and repair projects.
- Fabricate parts in accordance with dimensional specifications from technical drawings.
- Program CNC machines using G-Code.
- Manufacture electrodes using milling and lathe machines.
- Maintain and update inventory of tools, accessories, and instruments used in EDM operations.
- Machine jigs and fixtures as required.
- Ensure safety and proper maintenance of all tool room equipment, especially the Sparking EDM machine.
- Uphold 5S housekeeping standards and foster teamwork and coordination across departments to support compliance with company policies
- Proficient in CNC programming and machine setup based on blueprints.
- Ability to interpret mechanical and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of G-Code, M-Code, and P-Code.
- NC II Certification is an advantage.
- Experience with plastic connector products is a plus.
- Skilled in operating surface grinding and milling machines.
- Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and machining principles.
