- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in offices, hallways, restrooms, and other areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors, ensuring they are well-stocked with supplies.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas and replace garbage bags.
- Dust and clean surfaces such as desks, shelves, windows, and vents.
- Wash windows, glass doors, and mirrors as needed.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and notify management of inventory needs.
- Maintain outdoor areas, such as sidewalks, entrances, or parking lots, by sweeping, shoveling snow, or removing debris.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and buffers.
- Perform periodic deep cleaning tasks, such as waxing floors or cleaning carpets.
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and equipment.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety and chemical handling.
