Data Engineer

Design, develop and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. Create data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement ETL (extract, transform and load) processes to migrate and deploy data across systems.

Summary: As a Data Engineer, you will engage in designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive data solutions that support the generation, collection, and processing of data. Your typical day involves creating and managing data pipelines, ensuring the accuracy and quality of data, and implementing processes to efficiently migrate and deploy data across various systems. Collaboration with team members and stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making is an integral part of your role. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions. - Monitor and optimize data workflows to improve performance and reliability. - Document data processes and maintain clear communication channels within the team. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. - Strong knowledge of data pipeline development and management. - Experience with data integration and transformation techniques. - Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and processing solutions. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues efficiently. - Understanding of data governance and quality assurance practices. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 1 year of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 1 year(s) of experience is required
