A Retail Sales Representative works in a store or retail environment, helping customers select products, providing product information, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. They are responsible for achieving sales targets and promoting the store’s products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in selecting products based on their needs.
- Provide detailed product information and demonstrate features and benefits.
- Process customer transactions, including cash, card, or other payment methods.
- Maintain product displays, keep the store clean and organized.
- Meet or exceed sales goals and targets.
- Handle customer complaints or issues with a solution-oriented approach.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in B2B sales or a similar sales environment is highly preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, target-driven, strong relationship-building skills, and ability to work independently.
