Position Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in U.S. tax law, GAAP, and bookkeeping. They will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and state tax regulations, managing tax planning and strategy, and providing guidance on tax-related matters. Proficiency in tax and accounting software are essential for this role. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or an advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, specifically with U.S. tax law, GAAP, and bookkeeping. Strong knowledge of tax compliance and reporting requirements. Proficiency in QuickBooks and other tax software. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for various entities. Ensure compliance with U.S. tax laws and GAAP. Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax legislation. Provide strategic tax planning to minimize tax liabilities. Assist in audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities. Collaborate with external tax advisors and consultants. Develop and implement tax policies and procedures. Train and mentor junior tax staff members. Perform bookkeeping tasks and utilize accounting software; QuickBooks, Xero,NetSuite, etc. Prepare and present financial statement, bookkeeping tasks, audit report, and tax reports to management.
