Medical Coding Trainer-Davao

Responsibilities:
- Develop and conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars on medical coding guidelines and best practices.
- Train new and existing coders on ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, DRG assignment, risk adjustment, and compliance regulations.
- Create training materials, manuals, and assessment tools to enhance coding knowledge and accuracy.
- Monitor coder performance and provide feedback, mentoring, and retraining as needed.
- Stay updated on CMS, AHIMA, AAPC, and payer-specific coding changes and ensure timely dissemination of updates.
- Certified Medical Coder (Preferrably CIC)
- 2-3 years Coding Training experience
- Preferrably a PHRN
- This position will be working with a business process outsourcing (BPO) company specializing in the medical care industry.
- Working Set-up: Onsite
- Mondays to Fridays.
