We are looking for an SAP FI/JVA Support Consultant responsible for managing production support, resolving incidents, and ensuring the stability of financial and joint venture accounting processes. The role involves troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, coordinating with technical teams, and supporting financial close activities. You will play a key role in maintaining system health, improving processes, and ensuring timely delivery of support within SLA commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP FI and JVA production incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and recommend long‑term solutions.
- Prioritize and support critical business processes based on business impact.
- Coordinate with Basis, ABAP, Integration, and Security teams for issue resolution.
- Monitor interfaces, batch jobs, workflows, and data replication affecting FI/JVA.
- Evaluate and implement approved configuration changes.
- Support minor enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare functional specifications for development requirements.
- Conduct system testing and validation for fixes and changes.
- Maintain process documentation and knowledge articles.
- Provide daily production support within SLA timelines.
- Participate in on‑call support rotations as needed.
- Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities.
- Monitor application health and proactively address potential issues.
- Track and report support metrics, trends, and service improvements.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in SAP FI Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) .
- Solid understanding of FI processes, integrations, and financial close activities.
- Experience in production support, incident management, and root cause analysis.
- Ability to prepare functional specs and collaborate with technical teams.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, workflows, and interface management.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in fast‑paced environments and manage multiple priorities.
