Project Engineer - Structural
Qualifications:
- Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer.
- With experience in Rebar, Concrete Works, and Formworks .
- Knowledgeable in structural construction activities and site supervision.
- Able to monitor project progress and ensure quality of work.
- Willing to work on-site.
- Can start ASAP is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor structural works, particularly rebar installation, concrete pouring, and formworks.
- Ensure all structural works comply with approved plans, specifications, and project standards.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Foreman, and other site personnel regarding daily construction activities.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Inspect reinforcement bars, formworks, and concrete works before and during concrete pouring.
- Ensure proper implementation of construction methods, quality standards, and site safety procedures.
- Prepare daily accomplishment reports, site inspection reports, and other required project documentation.
- Monitor the use of construction materials and ensure proper handling to minimize wastage.
- Identify and report site issues, delays, and structural discrepancies to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate with other trades to ensure smooth workflow and avoid conflicts on-site.
- Ensure that all structural activities are carried out according to the approved construction schedule
Job Requirements
- Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer.
- With at least 2 years of relevant experience in structural construction.
- With hands-on experience in Rebar Installation, Concrete Works, and Formworks.
- Knowledgeable in structural plans, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
- Familiar with site supervision, quality control, and construction safety standards.
- With good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work on-site and coordinate effectively with project teams.
- Willing to be assigned to project sites as required.
- Can start ASAP is an advantage.
