Electrical Technician

An electrical technician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems, components, and machinery in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. They interpret blueprints, troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment, conduct safety testing, and ensure compliance with electrical codes. They are essential in manufacturing and construction, often working with high-voltage machinery and PLC systems
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: A high school diploma is the minimum, but employers usually prefer a 2-year technical degree or certificate in Electrical Technology.
Training & Experience: 1-4 years of hands-on experience, often through apprenticeships, internships, or previous roles as a helper.
Certifications:
TESDA Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II.
Skills: Proficiency in PLC programming, schematic reading, circuit troubleshooting, and electrical equipment maintenance.
