- Oversee the end-to-end operations of the cold storage distribution center.
- Manage inventory to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and safety regulations.
- Implement and maintain temperature control measures to guarantee proper storage conditions.
- Supervise and lead operation staffs, providing guidance and training on best practices.
- Develop and execute strategies for operational efficiency, including optimizing storage space and reducing energy consumption.
- Coordinate with supplies, logistics, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and manage budgets for the cold storage facility.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure proper handling, labeling, and movement of products.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve overall performance.
- Report on the performance of the cold storage facility to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience (3+ years) in warehouse management, preferably in cold storage or food logistics.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of cold storage operations, temperature control, and safety standards.
- Proficient in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
