- Oversee ship operations and navigation.
- Ensure safety and compliance with maritime regulations.
- Manage crew and vessel activities effectively.
- Respond to emergencies and implement safety protocols.
- Communicate with port authorities and stakeholders.
- Maintain vessel documentation and records.
- Conduct regular inspections and oversee maintenance.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in marine science, maritime studies, or a related field.
- Experience Level: 3-5 years of experience as a Master/Captain on vessels of similar size.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and proficiency in navigation systems.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Oversee vessel operations, manage crew, and ensure safety compliance.
- Working Conditions: Extended periods at sea, varying weather conditions, and irregular hours.
- Qualities and Traits: Decisive, responsible, with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
