Corporate Credit Officer

Location: BGC, Taguig City Job Type: Full-Time Work Setup: On-site (with occasional field work) Work Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a Corporate Credit Officer to evaluate corporate loan applications through financial analysis and credit assessment. The role is responsible for reviewing borrower information, assessing credit risks, and preparing sound lending recommendations while ensuring portfolio quality and supporting business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assess corporate borrowers and conduct initial credit evaluations. Conduct client interviews and ocular inspections together with the Account Officer. Review information from credit bureaus and other third-party sources. Perform trade checking with customers and suppliers. Analyze audited financial statements, bank statements, and financial ratios. Prepare financial spreadsheets and determine borrowers' repayment capacity. Develop comprehensive credit proposals and lending recommendations. Prepare financial projections when necessary. Present credit proposals to the Credit Committee (CreCom) based on approval limits. Conduct loan reviews, renewals, and credit line availments. Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or any related field. At least 3 years of experience in Corporate Credit, Credit Evaluation, or Credit Underwriting. Experience handling corporate business loans in a commercial bank or financing company. Strong knowledge of financial statement and ratio analysis. Experience in client visits and CreCom presentations is an advantage. Fresh graduates with a Finance or Accounting background are also encouraged to apply.
