Housekeeper

Job Summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and hygiene of residential or commercial premises. The role ensures a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for occupants or guests at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors
• Change bed linens and make beds
• Wash, dry, iron, and organize laundry
• Clean windows, mirrors, furniture, and appliances
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
• Refill toiletries and cleaning supplies as needed
• Report damages, maintenance issues, or safety hazards
• Follow proper cleaning procedures and use cleaning chemicals safely
• Maintain cleanliness according to health and safety standards
• Assist with basic household tasks when required

Qualifications

• At least high school level or equivalent
• With experience as a housekeeper or cleaner is an advantage
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and tools
• Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks
• Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
