Welder

The Welder is responsible for fabricating, assembling, repairing, and joining metal parts using various welding techniques such as SMAW, GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG), or FCAW, depending on project requirements. The role includes interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, preparing materials, inspecting welds for quality, and ensuring that all work meets engineering specifications and safety standards. The Welder is also expected to maintain welding equipment, follow proper safety procedures, and collaborate with supervisors and team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. Qualifications: At least High School Graduate or Vocational Graduate. TESDA NC II in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) or a related welding certification is an advantage. Proven experience as a Welder in construction, manufacturing, or fabrication. Skilled in using welding machines, hand tools, and measuring instruments. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols. Knowledge of welding procedures, metal fabrication, and workplace safety standards. Physically fit and willing to work on-site, render overtime, and travel to different project locations when necessary. Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
