They reconcile accounts, identify and correct discrepancies, and ensure the ledger reflects the company's true financial position. 3. Preparing Financial Statements: Bookkeepers generate essential financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. These statements provide valuable insights into a company's financial health and performance. They ensure the statements are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with accounting standards. 4.
