1. Beverage Preparation - Prepare coffee and espresso-based beverages (latte, cappuccino, americano, etc.) following standard recipes.
- Brew tea, blended drinks, and other specialty beverages.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment.
2. Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly and provide menu recommendations.
- Take orders accurately and handle payments through POS system.
- Address customer concerns politely and professionally.
3. Food Handling
- Prepare and serve pastries, sandwiches, and other light snacks if available.
- Ensure all items are handled safely and hygienically.
- Restock display cases and food items as needed.
4. Cleanliness & Sanitation
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, bar counter, and seating area.
- Wash and sanitize utensils, pitchers, cups, and equipment regularly.
- Follow food safety standards and café sanitation procedures.
5. Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor stocks of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and supplies.
- Inform the Supervisor of low inventory or equipment issues.
- Assist in weekly or monthly inventory counts.
6. Café Operations
- Follow opening and closing procedures (machine calibration, cleaning schedules, cash tally).
- Ensure consistent beverage quality and adherence to café recipes.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
