We are currently seeking a Director of Meeting Events  to join our vibrant team. As a Director of Events , you bring an exceptional level of ambition, a results-driven mindset, and a genuine passion for crafting extraordinary experiences for our clients. Your expertise and dedication will play a pivotal role in elevating our Meetings and Events Team to new heights.

• Ensures the smooth running of the meeting & events department, where all aspects of the client and guest experience are delivered to the highest levels,
• Works proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries and problem resolution,
• Develops and implements plans where meeting & events initiatives & hotel targets are achieved,
• Leads and manages the meeting & events team, fostering a culture of growth, development and performance within the department.
• Prepares and is responsible for the departmental budget, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained.
• Builds and maintains effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
• Establishes and delivers effective programmes that advance sales and profitability.
• Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of 2-3 years of the same capacity in meeting & events with strong problem-solving capabilities in a luxury or 5-star internaltional hotel.
• Excellent leadership skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.
• Adept in events forecasting, budgetting and P&L responsibility and revenue optimization.
• Managing high-volume banquet operation and banquet teams for VVIPs in high profile social events, corporate gatherings, conventions and diplomatic occassions.
