- Develop detailed construction project schedules using scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather input for schedule development.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect changes, delays, or adjustments in scope.
- Identify potential scheduling conflicts or delays and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Track resource allocation, including labor, equipment, and materials, to ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Analyze project schedules to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency.
- Generate and present progress reports, including Gantt charts and critical path analyses, to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure schedules align with project budgets and milestones.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and construction standards.
- Support project closeout by finalizing schedules and documenting lessons learned.
- Proven experience as a construction scheduler or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, and project management principles.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills to manage complex timelines.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, contractors, and clients.
- Familiarity with budgeting and resource management.
- Problem-solving skills to address scheduling conflicts and delays.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
